Immunizations

Ages 0-18

Vaccinations are required for pre-school and school enrollment in Illinois. Commonly known as “shots,” these required vaccines protect your child from contagious illnesses including chicken pox, diphtheria, hepatitis, measles, meningitis, mumps, pneumonia, polio, rubella, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis).

Additional vaccines for the flu and other illnesses are also available for babies, toddlers, pre-school, grade school, and high school children up until their 19th birthday.

Vaccinations are available every Wednesday, 8am to 4pm, with additional evening hours the second Thursday of each month.

Vaccinations are also available in our Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Clinic for children from birth to 5 years old.

Insurance questions?

Vaccinations are generally covered by private health insurance and public insurance programs including Medicaid, the Vaccines For Children (VFC) program, and All Kids. If you are not enrolled in an insurance program, we can help you to enroll. Your physician and other health care providers may also provide vaccines.
